2026 marks the 100th anniversary of The Lister (Social) Club, whose land and buildings was transferred to the Chantry Centre in 2011. We would like to celebrate this anniversary with a series of events to be held during the first half of 2026. As we refurbish the Chantry Centre in the run up to 2026 we are looking to set up set up a permanent display at the Chantry Centre showing the history of The Lister Club.

To kick things off we are hosting a “drop in” morning from 10am - 12 on Saturday 22nd June in the Lister Hall to us help come up with ideas for events to celebrate the anniversary.  The Garden Cafe will be open serving teas, coffees and cakes.

We are also hunting for additional photos, posters, programmes etc  which we could potentially copy and use as part of the display.  So if you have any memorabilia relating to The Lister Club (but not the Lister works please) then we would love to see it!
